Today’s review is to be based on:
Pantene Pro-V Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Maximum Hold (Level 4)
Pantene Pro-V Curl Defining Mousse, Maximum Hold
John Frieda Frizz Ease – Original 6 Effects Serum
I bought all three of these products yesterday when I needed to wash my hair and just didn’t feel like going straight again. My natural hair is curly, thick, and frizzy, and can be quite difficult to tame. When I bought these products, it was on the lower end of the spectrum in price – normally, I’d opt for something higher-class, but I figured I would give these three products a try and see how they worked on my hard-to-manage hair. I’m really glad I did, because the end result was beautiful, perfect curls that I actually liked and that didn’t look frizzy. They worked fabulously, and quite honestly surprised me.
First up on the review list is the John Frieda Frizz Ease – Original 6 Effects Serum.
This hair serum is going to be my new go-to serum for sure. It states on the front of the bottle, “Eliminates frizz, humidity protection, heat protection, smoothes, hydrates, and tames. For medium to coarse hair, apply to wet hair.” It worked great for my curly style; I’m sure it will look just as amazing and work well for wearing my hair straight as well. I also believe it will add a level of shine and gloss, and help to protect the hair during straightening and blow drying. I don’t typically ever blow dry my hair, but if and when I do, I think this product will be fab.
This formula, it states on the back, is an award winning formula that, “repels humidity for glossy, silky smooth styles”. Simply pump into your hand (less is more with this serum) and apply to soaking wet hair. I did towel dry my hair first before applying, however. From there, add any other products you want to and style as you normally would. Following this serum, I used the two other products listed above. I believe this product worked miracles at controlling my frizz, and my hair held its own all day long without a lick of frizz to be seen. Fabulous product I will surely use again and again – and very affordable. I believe I paid $6.00 for this bottle. Although there isn’t much product inside of the container, it will surely last at least a couple of weeks as you only use minimal amounts of product. It says on the back one pump will do, but for thicker or longer hair you may need to use more. I used three pumps on my hair due to the thickness and length.
Next up for review: Pantene Pro-V Curl Defining Mousse, Maximum Hold
This product was one of the most fantastic curl mousses I have used in quite a while. The scent is amazing, to boot. This maximum hold curl defining mousse definitely did its job, and held my curl perfectly in a well defined style all day long without wearing out or looking ‘crunchy’. My curls looked soft and touchable – and better yet, felt soft and touchable all day long without need for touch ups or re-application. Simply shake the can, spray a generous amount into the palm of your hand, and work through the hair. I used this in conjunction with the John Freida serum, which I applied first, and followed up with the Pantene Anti-Humidity hairspray. A great product I’m glad I bought and tried. I will surely get more of this one! Cost was approximately $4.00, and well worth it.
Last but not least, the final product review: Pantene Pro-V Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Maximum Hold (Level 4)
This hairspray was the icing on the cake to my perfect hair day. It smelled great, and did exactly as it said – held the style all day long at maximum hold, without losing it’s capability of maintaining the style mid-day. Being that I live in South Florida, one of the most humid places on the earth, I gave this product (along with the other two) a true test and stood outside for about 30 minutes in the humid air. After that thirty minutes, a product’s true colors will show. My hair didn’t budge, didn’t frizz, and held it’s style fantastically thanks to this amazing anti-humidity hairspray. Not only that, but all it took was a once over spray and the style held perfectly. There was no need to reapply at all throughout the day. I love this hairsrpay, and I truly believe Pantene outdid itself with this product. Cost was approximately $5.00.
After using the above three products. Fabulous, frizz free curls that are well defined! (Don’t mind my boxes; recently moved, haven’t had a chance to unpack all that much yet!)
I give all three of these products my seal of approval – and an A+ for actually working as well as they did and as described. No false advertising, just good quality products for a fraction of the cost you would spend on the more expensive brands.
Have you used any of these products? If so, what was your experience with them? I’d love to hear about it in a comment below!
Is it still available for sale?

With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My website has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but
it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over
the web without my permission. Do you know any ways to help stop content from being ripped
off? I’d truly appreciate it.

Hello there, thanks for stopping by and reading my post, and also for your comment/question. As far as I know, I haven’t been plagiarized or ‘ripped off’, but then again, this is the internet. Anything is possible. If you were to see your content on another person’s website, I would advise you to send them an e-mail stating your concern and asking them to remove it promptly. Tell them you are the originator of the work, and that if they don’t comply you will take further action – such as sending a cease and desist letter, which would be my next step. From there, you could contact the website hosting company and let them know someone who uses their hosting service is committing copyright infringement, and also – you could look the website’s domain owner up on WhoIs and if they have their information public instead of privacy protected, you can contact that person directly. Good luck, and again – thanks for stopping by!
